In recent years, the rapid development of China’s economy and the acceleration of urbanization have promoted the vigorous development of China’s building industry. At present, the energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions of the China’s building industry have become an important part of the whole society’s.So the energy conservation and emission reduction of the building industry are both imminent. In the new era,the development of China’s building industry has shifted from the stage of high-speed growth to the stage of high-quality development. How the government can help the traditional building industry to realize the green transformation is the main topic discussed in this paper.Based on the above background, this paper mainly uses the Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium(DSGE)model to simulate the impact of different government policies on the green transformation of the building industry.First of all, based on the steady state of the model,we can find that with the green transformation of the building industry, most of the major variables’ steady-state value presented an"inverted U" trend. On this basis, this paper carries on the representative impulse response and welfare analysis in the early stage, results show that the government cannot completely rely on technology progress to promote the transformation of traditional buildings, but also needs to combine government subsidies and carbon emission tax or other comprehensive measures to effectively complete the transformation target. Finally, this paper also simulates the sensitivity of the economic system and the building industry to relevant policies at different stages, results show that technology progress, green building subsidies and carbon emission tax can play different effects in different stages,in the early stage, technology progress brings the highest level of welfare, the effect of subsidies is not as good as that of carbon emission tax in promoting transformation, and the welfare level is also low, when the transformation enters the middle and late stage, neither green building subsidies nor carbon emission tax can continue to effectively promote the further transformation of the building industry, new policy combinations need to be considered.
