Phosphate rock is an important ore raw material in industrial and agricultural production in China.Western Hubei is rich in phosphate rock resources,and its exploitation and utilization is of great significance for the economic development of western Hubei.As an important and complex work in the early stage of comprehensive utilization of phosphate rock,the phosphate rock geological exploration project provides a basis for the design and development of subsequent mines.However,subject to the complex topographic conditions in western Hubei and the characteristics of the project,economic,safety and quality risks occur from time to time due to lack of funds,complex environmental conditions and construction,resulting in low completion quality and comprehensive benefits.Therefore,the risk management of phosphate rock geological exploration project is particularly important.This paper takes the phosphate geological exploration project in western Hubei as the research object.first of all,based on the geological exploration norms of phosphate rock and the characteristics of geological structure in western Hubei,the risk is identified by using the method of flow chart and literature research.by dividing the project operation process into six stages,all risk factors are divided into seven categories,and a complete risk identification list is established.Then,the risk assessment is completed by comprehensively applying the risk matrix method,analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method,and the expert investigation method is used to score the occurrence probability and loss consequence of each risk factor.The risk fuzzy value of each risk factor is obtained through the fuzzy operation of the constructed R=L× S risk classification evaluation matrix model,so as to clarify the risk grade of each risk factor and the risk grade of the project.Finally,with the actual case study,according to the results of risk assessment,the specific measures are put forward and the implementation effect of the project is analyzed,which verifies the effectiveness of the risk management method proposed in this paper.it provides a method guarantee for the safe and smooth implementation of the phosphate rock geological exploration project in western Hubei.By combining the characteristics of geological structure in different areas,the research results of risk management in this paper can be applied to the ris k management of phosphate geological exploration projects in other areas,and it also has reference value for the risk management of similar mineral geologic al exploration projects.
