| The Ministry of Education has issued the "Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial)",which further clarifies the professional literacy and ability requirements of middle school teachers,marking a new era in the cultivation and training of China’s basic education teacher team.The teaching ability of normal students is an important component of their professional development and an important factor in improving the quality of teacher education and teaching.For future physics teachers,various advanced educational ideas are constantly emerging in today’s society,educational concepts are constantly updating,and educational methods are constantly improving.To build a high-quality team of middle school teachers,the first step is to put forward key requirements for the teaching ability of future excellent physics teachers-outstanding physics normal students.Various teaching skills competitions targeting normal students are an important way to enhance their teaching skills.The National Normal Student Teaching Skills Competition is a teacher training skills competition based on the cultivation of teaching skills.This competition brings a new perspective on evaluating the teaching ability of normal students,and the current situation of teaching ability can be traced in the competition video.The research aims to present the current situation of outstanding physics teacher students’ teaching abilities,expose the shortcomings of their teaching abilities,and attribute and analyze the influencing factors through the study of the National Teacher Training Skills Competition video,which represents the highest level of teacher training skills in the country.This will help teachers reflect on the shortcomings in their own teaching ability development and achieve the comprehensive improvement of the quality of primary and secondary school teachers proposed by the Ministry of Education,The goal of building a high-quality and professional teaching team is to provide assistance.In order to accurately describe the current situation of outstanding physics teacher training students’ teaching abilities and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis materials for attribution analysis,firstly,through literature review,the study clarified the concepts and connotations of teaching ability and physics teacher training students’ teaching ability,and compared and summarized the paths to improve the teaching ability of physics teacher training students.Secondly,on the basis of clarifying and refining the research questions,through literature review and comparative research of various evaluation tools,and referring to the "Professional Standards for Middle School Teachers(Trial)" in China,as well as the division of teaching abilities by Zhang Dajun and Jiang Qi,an evaluation index system for outstanding physics normal school students’ teaching abilities was constructed.Next,within the framework of the evaluation index system for the teaching ability of outstanding physics normal students,the reliability of the evaluation criteria was established by using the research method of multiple viewers watching the competition videos of the physics group in the National Normal Student Teaching Skills Competition and evaluating classroom text recordings.Subsequently,data and results were collected,statistically analyzed,and evaluated to analyze the problems in the teaching ability of outstanding physics normal school students.Univariate analysis of variance was used to compare the differences in different dimensions of teaching ability at different levels of universities.Finally,a semi-structured interview was conducted on the participants,and based on data analysis,the main issues extracted,and the interview results,attribution analysis was conducted on the factors that affect the development of excellent physics normal school students’ teaching abilities.Through research and analysis of the current situation of teaching ability of outstanding physics normal students,it is concluded that there are three main problems in the development of teaching ability of outstanding physics normal students:(1)the development of teaching design ability needs to be further balanced,and there is bias in various dimensions;(2)The ability to implement teaching and control in the classroom is good,and innovative thinking in teaching needs to be paid attention to and strengthened;(3)The teaching evaluation ability urgently needs to be diversified,and the ability to deeply reflect and improve is weak.After combining qualitative interview texts and quantitative data for attribution analysis,it can be summarized into the following three points:(1)the degree of consistency between educational theory and educational practice affects the development of teaching design ability;(2)the subjective importance level of outstanding physics teacher students affects the development of teaching design ability;(3)the level of school management and the development of teaching implementation ability have a certain correlation. |
