| Under the background of the “Global Maritime Fulcrum” strategy,the maritime cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea continues to deepen,and it has become a new focus for observing Indonesia’s maritime development and the interaction of bilateral relations.This paper starts from Indonesia’s “Global Maritime Fulcrum” strategy,and based on the understanding of this strategy,conducts research on the marine cooperation between the two countries.First,analyze the reasons for the maritime cooperation between Indonesia and South Korea,and sort out the main contents of the maritime cooperation between the two countries.Secondly,on the basis of comparative analysis,summarize the characteristics of cooperation,and discuss the problems existing in the cooperation between the two countries.Finally,the impact of the two countries’ maritime cooperation is analyzed from the national and regional levels.According to the study,the maritime cooperation between the two countries under the background of this strategy is based on common interests and complementary benefits.The emergence of the mechanism has improved the level of bilateral maritime cooperation and guaranteed the smooth development of cooperation.The cooperation mainly involves the fields of maritime security,economy,science and education,and human resources.It presents the characteristics of focusing on arms cooperation and multi-field cooperation,government interaction and non-governmental exchanges,and continuous improvement of guarantee mechanisms.Although the maritime cooperation between the two countries has deepened compared to before,there are still problems such as insufficient cooperation environment and basic conditions,uncertainties in the cooperation strategies of the two parties,and limited cooperation results that affect the sustainability of cooperation.At present,the maritime cooperation between the two countries basically meets the needs of Indonesia’s strategic development.While improving the overall level of Indonesia’s maritime affairs,it also provides new opportunities for South Korea to realize strategic transfer and integrate into Southeast Asia,and has a positive impact on the development of bilateral relations.In addition,the cooperation between the two countries also has an impact on the development of regional oceans.While promoting the integration of regional ocean governance,it may also bring new instability to Southeast Asia and the South China Sea. |
