Study On Japan-Vietnam Cooperation In Maritime Security(2010-2019)

Since 2010,Japan and Vietnam,based on their respective domestic background and the international background of coexistence,have continuously accelerated the process of maritime security cooperation between the two countries from the strategic consideration of expanding and safeguarding their own interests,especially under the impetus of structural strategic pressure from Indo-Pacific.In the ten years from 2010 to 2019,Japan and Vietnam have deepened maritime security cooperation,showing relatively rich cooperation content and distinct cooperation characteristics.However,the process of maritime security cooperation between Japan and Vietnam will still be restricted by a variety of strategic factors in the future,including the internal factors of Japan and Vietnam,as well as the strange and contradictory effects of domestic factors in the two countries.At the same time,based on the in-depth analysis of the series of impacts of the maritime security cooperation between Japan and Vietnam during 2010-2019 on the relations between the two countries,China and the region,this paper explores the feasible strategies for China to respond to Japan and Vietnam in a timely and effective manner in maritime security cooperation and related fields.
