Research On Independent Renovation Design Of Modern Low-Rise Housing Based On Climate Adaptability In Guangzhou

Stock transformation has become a major theme in the field of architecture,and how to practice the concept of green development is the most pressing problem it faces.Modern lowrise residential buildings,as one kind of widely distributed residential buildings with a large number,have not been generally included in the category of top-down collective transformation like old residential areas and mainly through the independent transformation mode to improve the space quality,which is lack of systematic theoretical support.Climate adaptability is an effective tool that can coordinate the relationship between the building and the surrounding climate and guide the building to be environmentally friendly,healthy and comfortable.Thus,how to use climate adaptation theory to response to owners’ demand and generate the corresponding systematic transformation method under the premise of accurately identifying the characteristics and the optimization direction of independent transformation mode,presenting the maximum application value of independent transformation mode at social and individual levels,is the key problem to be solved by this paper.Based on the response to the national "double carbon" strategy and people’s goal of creating a healthy and comfortable life style,this paper selects modern low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou as the study object.Firstly,by comparing with the collective transformation led by the government or market,this paper discusses the connotation,implementation path and influencing factors of independent transformation.Focusing on the analysis of the guiding and restricting effects of social needs and individual demands on independent transformation,the characteristics,application value and improvement direction of independent transformation are summarized.Then,this paper introduces and analyzes the concept of climate adaptability,which has important significance to energy conservation,carbon reduction and human body comfort perception.With the help of interview,questionnaire and on-the-spot investigation,this paper collects and clusters the owners’ wishes to transform the buildings and generalize the contents which are highly relevant to climate adaptation,therefore integrating transformation demands based on climate adaptation.After that,from the perspective of independent transformation,the typical traditional practices and typical modern practices adopted in the independent transformation of low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou are clustered and used for reference,and the optimization strategies suitable for the independent transformation of modern low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou are perfected based on the climate adaptability demands.Finally,a modern lowrise residential building belonging to Meilin Lake in Guangzhou is selected as a real case.Through the analysis of transformation demands of the owners and the existing status of the building,the transformation goals of this case are established.Based on the different application patterns of verandah which is one of the most typical climate adaptation spaces,different transform schemes are generated and analyzed by the response effects of these schemes to climate adaptation demands by combining qualitative analysis and quantitative comparison,thus guiding the transformation of this case.This paper aims to clarify the implementation path and influencing factors of independent transformation of modern low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou,and outline the application status and improvement direction of independent transformation mode in modern low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou.The correlation between climate adaptability and independent transformation mode of modern low-rise residential in Guangzhou is explored,and the application values of independent transformation for achieving social development goals and improving quality of personal life are proved.The fragmented renovation mode is integrated to coordinate the possible contradiction between social management and individual willingness,providing feasible,appropriate and systematic independent transformation schemes for owners with climate adaptation demands.At theoretical level,this paper clarifies the basic connotation and characteristics of independent transformation,and uses the climate adaptation theory to sort out and summarize the specific needs behind independent transformation,which plays a certain complementary role in the theoretical system of residential transformation.At practical level,this paper preliminarily forms a systematic optimization strategy for independent transform mode of low-rise residential buildings in Guangzhou by connecting the content related to climate adaptability with the owners’ transformation intention,which has certain application value for improving the fragmentation and disordered problems existing in the implementation process of independent transformation.
