In the period of rapid modernization of science and technology,advanced manufacturing with advanced technology as the main productive force has become the key pillar of national strength.Its technological frontier and high growth characteristics contain great market development potential,and it has gradually become a focus area for countries around the world to seize the high ground of science and technology and develop economic advantages.However,China’s advanced manufacturing industry still faces problems such as weak independent research and development capabilities and poor innovation efficiency at this stage.Based on this,on the basis of clarifying the scope of the advanced manufacturing industry,this paper disassembles and analyzes its innovation system,and studies the current situation of technological innovation in my country’s advanced manufacturing industry from the aspects of innovation output influencing factors and innovation efficiency.Following the key development issues of advanced manufacturing industry in this way has practical significance for improving the efficiency of technological innovation in China’s advanced manufacturing industry.First,from the perspective of competitiveness,this paper fully explores the connotation of advanced manufacturing industry,and combines the VRIO competitiveness framework to construct an entropy weight-TOPSIS evaluation model.Based on this,the advanced index of China’s manufacturing industry is quantitatively evaluated,and the sub-industry scope of advanced manufacturing industry is defined.Moreover,analyze the status quo of its input and output.The results show that China’s current advanced manufacturing industry includes both emerging industries in the frontier fields of science and technology and some traditional manufacturing industries that have been transformed and upgraded.Moreover,the input-output effect of advanced manufacturing has not yet reached the industry-leading level,and its industrial value-added needs to be driven by innovation to increase the benefit of products.Secondly,according to the theoretical essence of the innovation value chain,the advanced manufacturing innovation system is decomposed into two stages of scientific and technological research and development and achievement transformation.This paper introduces the Cobb-Douglas production function to analyze the influencing factors of the innovation output in each stage of advanced manufacturing.It is clarified that R&D funds and R&D personnel have a common impact on the two stages,while technological transformation and government science and technology funds have a significant positive effect on the first or second stage respectively,and the effect of technology purchase and introduction factors is not obvious.On this basis,the main influencing factors of the overall and subdivided stages of advanced manufacturing are selected to correspond to each part of the index of its innovation efficiency evaluation,and a two-stage correlation DEA model is established considering shared input,additional input and one-stage exclusive input.From this,the overall and stage efficiency is measured and analyzed,and the differences between industries and stages are compared.The empirical measurement results reflect the low overall efficiency of scientific and technological innovation in China’s advanced manufacturing industry and the low efficiency of achievement transformation.The high R&D efficiency still needs to be maintained and further improved,and the innovation efficiency of subdivided industries has a large gap.Finally,based on the above research results,development suggestions are put forward from the aspects of upgrading management thinking,attaching importance to innovation-driven,increasing R&D investment,realizing targeted government funds,promoting technological transformation and improving innovation mechanism.In this way,it supplements the path for improving the efficiency of technological innovation in advanced manufacturing.
