Research On Regional Logistics Response Mechanism Driven By Rapid Urbanizatio

As an important part of regional economy,regional logistics is the important factors of urban economic development.The current urbanization in China is in a critical period of rapid development with the transformation of politic,economy and social structure,which has propounding influence on the regional logistics development.Meanwhile,regional logistics has become the important driving force of the development of the rapid urbanization to promote adjustment of urban industrial structure and coordinated development of the urban agglomeration,by influencing the growth of economic elements such as labor,capital,natural resources,industrial structure,infrastructure.With rapid growth of contemporary urbanization,exploring the influence factors and the driving force of urban development,as well as the regional logistics how to meet the demand of rapid development of urbanization,which has important significance of regional logistics and rapid urbanization coordinated development that to promote the development of efficient and sustainable urbanization.Firstly,the concept of rapid urbanization is defined,andalso the development characteristics of population,economy and logistics industry in the stage of rapid urbanization are analyzed in this paper.From three aspects of economy,society and space,logically analyzing the mutual influence of the rapid development of urbanization and regional logistics development,the mechanism of regional logistics development driven by rapid urbanization and the mechanism of action of regional logistics in response to rapid urbanization are put forward.Summary in the relationship between regional logistics and the rapid urbanization drive-response relationship mainly including in three aspects:one is the balance of growing demand of material flow brought by rapid development of urbanization and more efficient and convenient logistics supply capacity under the regional logistics development,so as to promote the development of urban economy.Then,in the process of rapid urbanization development,the regional logistics promote further agglomeration and diffusion of supplies,population,economic factors on the urban space,so that the spread of urban cluster and urban phenomenon deepen.Last,the development of regional logistics not only play a supporting role to the development of large and medium-sized cities,and also play an important role in promoting economic development in rural areas and medium-sized cities,thus speeding up the urbanization balanced coordinated development,when its logistics network spread to the small cities and rural areas.Secondly,a method is proposed to measure the correlation and space feature between rapid urbanization and regional logistics based on the analysis of driver-response relationship.The article focuses on 31 provinces(municipalities/autonomous regions)and takes co-integration test and Granger causality to testify the relationship between rapid urbanization and regional logistics,what more spatial econometric analysis also apply to the instance.Main research conclusions are:(1)there is significantly a long-term equilibrium relationship and short-term fluctuation affection between economic level,people’s income level,industrial structure,investment,infrastructure construction,residents’ consumption level and intensity of external economic contact with regional logistics development in the process of rapid urbanization development.(2)The resident’s income level,consumption level and intensity of external economic contact have positive effects both on freight traffic and the added value of transportation,warehousing and postal service;Investment,infrastructure construction has a positive role of freight traffic;economic level,industrial structure has a positive role of the added value of transportation,warehousing and postal service.(3)There is significantly a long-term equilibrium relationship and short-term fluctuation affection between the logistics index such as economic benefit,employment and logistics transportation distance with the rapid development of urbanization.Also economic benefit and logistics distance have a positive role in promoting urbanization,but employment is just the opposite.(4)The rapid development of urbanization drive the regional logistics development directly through the improvement of residents’ income level,infrastructure construction,residents’ consumption level.As logistics employment,transportation distance and the level of urbanization are Granger causality;they will directly affect the urbanization development level.(5)The related indicators of regional logistics and rapid urbanization are very positive in the space correlation.(6)The level of residents’ consumption and investment has a positive spillover effect on regional logistics,and also residents’ income level,industrial structure and economic contact promote spatial agglomeration of regional logistics.(7)The logistics index such as economic benefit,employment and logistics transportation distance have positive spillover effect on rapid urbanization;the most obvious one is logistics economic benefit.Finally,this paper summarizes the drive-response mechanism between the rapid urbanization and regional logistics.The coordination measure model of the rapid urbanization and regional logistics are built in the basis of expatiates on the connotation of coordinated development of rapid urbanization and regional logistics.From the perspective of 31 provinces(municipalities/autonomous regions),the balance development between rapid urbanization and regional logistics are analyzed.The regional coordinated development strategy is put forward from the driverresponse relation of rapid urbanization and regional logistics.
