Research On Sustainable Development Of Rural Mutual Aid Elderly Canteen From The Perspective Of Welfare Diversity

With the development of urbanization,the rural labor force is gradually transferred to the city,the phenomenon of rural elderly left behind is more and more common,and the problem of rural pension is also more and more concerned by the society.Influenced by traditional ideas,economic development and other factors,the elderly tend to live at home in rural areas.At present,in the process of the development of home-based care,the service supply,service level and financial support in rural areas are far less than those in urban communities.However,relying on the traditional local concept,rural areas still have great advantages in the development of mutual care.Therefore,it is of special significance to stimulate the mutual aid resources in rural areas and promote the sustainable development of mutual aid for the elderly.This paper takes the WQ elderly canteen of s village in Xiaoshan District of Hangzhou City as an example,based on the theory of multiple welfare and hierarchy of needs,uses the interview method and participatory observation method to collect relevant data,and researches on the integration of village resources by the social work service institutions of s village,so as to promote the sustainable development of WQ mutual elderly canteen.Through the understanding of the establishment process,operation mode and effect of WQ elderly canteen,this paper deeply analyzes the collaborative mechanism of welfare providers in the operation of elderly canteen.On the one hand,social work service institutions use professional advantages to integrate external multiple welfare supply.On the other hand,social work service institutions take advantage of these benefits to promote mutual assistance and cooperation with the elderly canteen as the carrier,so as to provide meal service for the elderly.It is found that the sustainable development dilemma of WQ mutual aid elderly canteen mainly includes the obstacles in welfare supply cooperation and the dilemma in service provision.In terms of welfare supply,firstly,the integration ability of social work service institutions is insufficient;secondly,the tendency of government welfare dependence is serious;thirdly,the sustainability of rural enterprise subsidy is poor.In terms of service provision,firstly,the supply is difficult to meet the demand;secondly,the quality of volunteer service is low.In the end,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the sustainable development of WQ elderly canteen:strengthen the construction of social work professional force,optimize the government’s capital and policy investment,open up multiple channels of financial support,reasonably set up the service content of elderly canteen,and improve the service quality of volunteers.
