Since entering the aged society in 1999, the elderly population rate in China keeps on increasing, and as predicted it will be up to 31% in the middle of this century. This aging problem is more conspicuous in the rural, for about 71% of the elderly live there. It is asserted that how to solve this problem for the aged ones in the countryside can be a social problem. So this paper studies the case of Hubei province, from perspective of supply analyzes the status quo of old-aged support in the countryside, available resource for filial care and the related troubles, from the perspective of demand explores the selection wills of old-aged support model of rural residents, and seeks the preference one to provide reference for the governmental policies, therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance.Upon the considerations above, this paper firstly reviews the researches at home and abroad on the status quo of choosing the countryside old-aged support model and the factors. Secondly it looks into the extent of aging problem in the Hubei province and the influence on the filial care issue. Thirdly, it analyzes the status quo and troubles of filial care support in Hubei province. Fourthly, it constructs the old-aged support choice model of the aged ones in the countryside. Finally, through multiple regression analysis it is obtained that how deep these factors effect the choice on buying home-based elderly care service and combined with the supply the sensible countryside old-aged support model selection is proposed as well as the corresponding countermeasures. As this research shows, from the perspective of supply, any solo old-aged support model faces some challenges. From the perspective of demand:the willingness of economic old-aged support (1) female, low-educated, more sons, living with a few more number of people, having a spouse, poor health and children-support, not enough income, not worry about the aging problem prefer to get the economic support from children; (2) male, high-educated, less sons, living with a small number of people, non-duality, self-support and enough income, prefer to choose get the economic support on their own; (3) high-educated, farming, self-support or government-support, having social old-age insurance, more concerned about their aging problem prefer to choose get the economic support from social old-age insurance sponsored by government. Referring to willingness of buying home care services for old-age, the low age, female, working for the non-agricultural categories, children living far apart, fewer children, people with old-age insurance is relatively more willing to buy home care services. Finally, based upon the empirical study this paper construct the filial model on the equilibrium of supply and demand:from the source of supply it should be based upon the family filial support, view the social filial care as core and view the self-support and governmental filial care as supply. From the content of filial care, it should be the combination of social filial care insurance system, the old community filial care system and the family spiritual support system.
