The sudden "new coronavirus pneumonia" swept the world,and the epidemic disrupted people's normal life.Affected by the new coronavirus pneumonia epidemic,parents delayed returning to work and children delayed the start of school,and the time spent with parents and children increased significantly.A long time at home makes up for the lack of parent-child companionship and lack of interaction.At the same time,long-term home life has also become a challenge for parent-child interaction.Many young children's parents complained that the holidays are too long and the kindergarten is delayed to start.For this reason,exploring the status of children's family life and parent-child interaction during the epidemic isolation period can not only show the true state of parent-child interaction during the isolation period,but also provide strategies and suggestions for improving parent-child interaction in the post-epidemic era.This study takes the COVID-19 isolation period in Wuhan City,Hubei Province as an example.With the support of 13 families with young children in Wuhan,this study is oriented towards qualitative research,using open interviews,and contacting the parents of 13 families based on the epidemic.The parent-child life of children's families in home quarantine is the background,presenting the status of parent-child interactions between children's families during the home quarantine period.Based on the PPCT model,the factors that affect parent-child interactions are discovered,and on this basis,strategies to improve parent-child interactions in children's families in the post-epidemic era are proposed.Specifically,this research mainly draws the following conclusions:Describes the significant changes in the parent-child life of young children during the home isolation period of the new crown pneumonia epidemic: from the perspective of time,the family time expands,the time ecology is unbalanced,the rhythm of life is disrupted and the life rhythm is disrupted,and the family is constantly adapting to the growth and adjustment of the available time of life.Work and rest gradually changed from disorder to order.From the perspective of space,domestic space closed reduction,lack of natural,physical space is closed,human sociality is temporarily withdrawn,the social communication between the family and the outside world is blocked,and it is "physically isolated" from the interpersonal network outside the family.Analyzed the parent-child interaction status of children during the home isolation period: based on the self-motivation of the child's healthy growth willingness and the superimposed motivation from the spouse,child,and kindergarten,the parent-child interaction during the home isolation period presents five major themes: First,carefully arrange the lives of children daily care.Second,accompany the children to play it all over,regain traditional games and parent-child games with self-made game materials.Third,parents return to the "first teachers" role cling to study.Fourth,a good opportunity for the intimacy of parent-child reading.Fifth,parents set an example and patiently cultivate their children's habits.Parent-child interaction has the effect of promoting improvement,increasing communication and deepening feelings during the home isolation period.However,the parent-child interaction still exist time failed to solve the puzzle of parents,long duration and the plight of poor parents' emotional states.It reveals the factors that affect the parent-child interaction of young children during the home isolation period: the awareness of parental education role is the driving feature of parent-child interaction,the ability of educational role is the resource feature of parent-child interaction,and the gender and age difference of young children are the demand characteristics of parent-child interaction;The family as a micro-system has a direct impact on parent-child interaction.Delayed school start and home office as an intermediate system collide and affect parent-child interaction;mass media epidemic information as an external system penetrates to affect parent-child interaction;traditional thinking and talent selection system as macro system constraints affect parent-child interaction.Based on the parent-child life status,parent-child interaction status and factors affecting parent-child interaction during the home isolation period,this research further proposes suggestions for improving parent-child interaction in the post-epidemic era from the three aspects of parents,kindergarten,and society.Finally,the limitations and implications of this study were discussed.
