Research On Preschool Children’s Vacation With Family

Family travel vacation with young children means that parents of children at the age of 3-6 using a variety of travel resources to promote the development of young children.The thesis aims to explore the features and regular patterns of family vacation with young children,analysis problems which exists during vacation time,discuss influencing factors about the parents using travel resources to educate young children.And then,suggestions and strategies are given.It is meaningful to use family resources to expand ways of family education with young children.So it is to promote quality of it.At last,it will make parents and their children grow together.The relevant documents about it was first analysized.Firstly,main features and shortages of these researches are discussed.Secondly,some new results are concluded. Thirdly,this thesis have a view on Bioecological Theory,Symbolic Interactionism and Experience genre Theory for making a good fundamental theory about family vacation with young children.Apart from questionnaire-survey as well as interviewing,the author also uses observation and material analytical method for collecting information from parents,children and scenic staff.lt is an effective way to make a good reliability and validity that combine quantitative-study with qualitative-study, which makes method of collecting information and resources of data verify each other well.There are many positive results from the research for example,parents gradually recognize the education value of travel,lots of parents take young children to travel again and again,young children’s freedom to choose certain destination of travel is respected,parents hope children participate in different activities,through some tactics,parents know how to make the best use of travel resources.On the other hand,some negative respects are also seen from the research,such as,parents don’t know how to respect children’s intense,making them unhappy during travel,children need simple illustration in order to understand some scenery but parents aren’t aware of this,children ask their parents some questions but receive careless answers,some exhibition were broken without care and explanations are too simple to understand well,too many tourists,no facilities for children.Finally,some suggestions are given.Parents ought to recognize the education value of travel,make relevant preparation before go to a excursion,improve their teaching ability,pay attention to their own behavior and travel with children for many times if possible,let children have their own space during travel,help children consolidate experiences after travel.
