Research On The Cultivation Strategy Of College Counselors' Core Literacy In The New Era

Counselors are the organizers,implementers and guides of the daily ideological and political education and management of college students.Their quality level is directly related to the effectiveness of college education and management and the growth of college students.With the advent of the new era,higher and newer requirements are put forward for the core literacy of college counselors.Under this background,how to scientifically define and cultivate the core literacy of College Counselors in the new era has become an important topic of academic research.This paper is guided by the theory of man's all-round development,the theory of man's value,the educational principle of "education first,moral education first" and the quality requirements of Ideological and political educators;Based on the new era,the new requirements for counselors to cultivate "new people of the times" are put forward.Based on the comparison of the counselors' responsibilities in the "Regulations on the construction of counselors in Colleges and universities" issued by the Ministry of education in 2006 and 2017,combined with the comparative study of counselors,teachers of Ideological and political theory course and student management personnel,this paper summarizes the practical basis.Therefore,the core quality of College Counselors in the new era is defined as ideological and political quality,management service quality and scientific research quality.Among them,ideological and political quality is the leader,management service quality is the basic,and scientific research quality is the "driving force";It is pointed out that the core quality of counselors is characterized by the unity of lifelong development and stage development,and the unity of universality and criticality.Through extensive questionnaire survey and individual interview,this paper sums up the main problems existing in the core literacy of counselors in the new era from the aspects of cognition,structure and level,and objectively analyzes the causes of the problems from the perspectives of school,society and counselors themselves.On this basis,from the construction of core literacy cultivation system,to create a good environment for public opinion,to enhance the effectiveness of self-education three dimensions,put forward the targeted strategies to cultivate the core literacy of counselors in the new era.
