Research On The Issue Of The Author From The Perspective Of New Media

The issue of the author has always attracted much attention.The author here refers to the author constructed as an object of social and historical experience and knowledge.In the 1960 s,the author was seriously questioned,and the argument of“the death of the author” was constantly heard.Now the image of the author has become extremely blurred in the context of new media,and “what is an author” has become a topic worthy of inquiry once again.On the new media platform,everyone can become an author,but the author as the subject has been eliminated and replaced by the function of discourse.Precisely because the author as the subject is absent,everyone can occupy the position of the author,and everyone can become the author in the position of discourse production.This paper mainly takes Roland Barthes and Michel Foucault's postmodernism author theory as the starting point,and discusses the issue of the author from the perspective of new media.Firstly,this paper summarizes the characteristics of new media authors,it expounds the popularization of authors,the virtualization of authors,and the interaction between authors and readers.It points out that these characteristics confirm the postmodernism author theory.Secondly,it analyzes how authors play a role through the discourse practice from the perspective of new media,and it points out that the fundamental factor affecting discourse practice is power.Finally,it reflects on the existing problems of new media authors,and discusses the strategies and methods of motivating new media authors to create.In short,postmodernism theorists dispel the author's subjectivity and highlight“the death of the author”,which is still valid to interpret the issue of the author from the perspective of new media.Re-examining and interpreting authors from the perspective of new media with the help of discourse function,author-function and other theories will enable us to understand the issue of the author better,prompt us to understand the historical changes of the issue of the author more deeply,and promote the in-depth study of the issue of the author in new media.
