With the advent of the new media era and the continuous development of network technology,all kinds of reality TV programs that pursue fast-paced and interesting have frequently brushed the screen in recent years,the homogenization of variety shows is becoming more and more serious.In this context,the variety show of "slow life" has entered people's vision with its soothing rhythm,and gradually promoted to the main force of the variety market.This thesis takes the typical representative of slow life reality show "Back to Field" as an example,taking the media landscape theory as the starting point,summarize the landscape construction characteristics of the program and its value in carrying forward traditional culture,as reality shows increasingly become a part of the audience's life,it provides new ideas for the development and innovation of similar programs.This thesis takes the five seasons of "Back to Field" from 2017 to 2021 as the research object,using the methods of literature research,case analysis and text analysis,this thesis makes a detailed analysis and Research on the construction logic of its media landscape.The first chapter of this thesis summarizes the slow life reality show and "Back to Field",and expounds the research ideas of this thesis on "Back to Field" according to the theory of media landscape.The second chapter of this thesis expounds the "poetic" shaping of the natural landscape of "Back to Field",and expounds it from two aspects: natural ecology and artificial mimicry.In addition,the presentation of landscape is inseparable from the support of characters,The third chapter combs the four types of character landscapes set in the program,namely "family members",guests,ordinary villagers and audiences,through their actions,language and living conditions,they can show the most natural appearance of slow life.The fourth chapter interprets the shaping of cultural landscape in "Back to Field",focusing on material culture,regional culture and pastoral culture,analyzing the construction of program cultural landscape is also helpful to understand the deeper meaning of the program.The fifth chapter starts with the narration of the whole program,analysis the narrative strategy of "Back to Field",the program mainly strengthens the artistic conception of rural landscape by triggering conflict and suspense,using story sequence,paying attention to audio-visual expression and other narrative techniques.The last chapter discusses the reflection and enlightenment of the landscape construction of slow life reality show,based on the problems existing in the program,such as the homogenization of landscape,the separation of media landscape from reality,and the obvious symbols of commercial consumption,put forward suggestions that programs should find their own positioning,avoid excessive manual intervention,balance commercial and social values,and pay attention to audience participation,the conclusion can provide new ideas for the future development of "Back to Field",and has full enlightenment significance for other slow variety shows of the same type in China.
