A Narrative Study Of The Domestic Reality Show "Slow Life"

"This is the life we truly aspire to!”The slogan started from a reality show Back To Field on Hunan Satellite TV in April 2017,and the concept of "slow life" has come into wide public view.Experience-based reality shows have been springing up ever since,and a number of excellent reality shows have become a comfortable choice for people living in tedious city life to relax.From 2017 until now,reality shows about the production concept of Slow Life have been broadcast on all mainstream satellite channels,reaching a wide audience.The paper aims to explore the impact of the reality show narrative research from this concept.The paper is based on the domestic reality shows concerning the concept of "slow life",and also focus on the programs of Back To Field,Chinese Restaurant and The Inn in the first three seasons,to find out why these reality shows get so much attention?What's behind the show?This article will analyze the narratology of the most representative reality TV programs,and discuss the relationship between narratology theory and "slow life" narratology.Using the method of literature analysis and text analysis,The author will take the above program text as the research object,exploring the differences in the narration of the Reality Show "slow life".First of all,from the perspective of narratology analysis of such reality shows,with the aid of classical narratology,film narratology and communication theory.Through text analysis,this paper will sort out the basic characteristics of slow life narrative,including its narrative main body,narrative content and narrative structure.From the definition of reality show,the development of reality show is analyzed,the narrative subject is analyzed from the point of view of the narrator and the real author,and the narrative theme is interpreted from the selection of the program content and the change of the program production style.Through observing and recording the details of the characters,time,space and sound,the narrative content is analyzed.Secondly,the influence of the core event and the catalytic event on the narrative work is analyzed from the narrative structure and narrative discourse,interpretation of the video language,audio language and text content in reality TV shows,and thus the unique presentation of conflict and suspense in reality TV shows,and then to reflect on the value of "slow life" narration in domestic reality TV programs.As a typical model of experience-based reality shows,the shows such as Back To Field,Chinese Restaurant and The Inn,provide a good guide for the development of later experience-based reality shows.Through the form of a popular reality show to spread the positive attitude in life,thus promoting the magnificent beautiful scenery of the motherland.After the program became popular,it attracted a certain amount of attention on this topic.At the same time,it attracted a large number of viewers to go to the field to visit.And take"opinion leaders" as a call to enhance the popularity of the location from the program shooting,all of which is particularly valuable in the Online Celebrity Economy continues to develop today.
