With the rise of Internet communication and entertainment culture,TV audiences continue to divert,coupled with the increasingly loss of the sense of freshness of entertainment programs,quality and taste are generally lacking,almost the entire television entertainment market shows a "weak" state.In particular,TV variety shows are facing a major shuffle.In the last two or three years,slow variety has joined the domestic variety show market with a brand-new cultural connotation and program concept.Slow variety,with its unique pursuit of cultural value and the concept of "slow life",is supplemented by quality programme content,peaceful narrative,soothing rhythm,and so on,to guide people back to the essence of life and become the current impetuous variety show market a "clear stream".This paper aims to review the rise and development of domestic slow variety from the angle of communication and sociology taking Back to field of Hunan Satellite TV as the key case to discuss the characteristics of marketing promotion,concept,orientation,narrative,content and form of the domestic slow variety shows,and the re-homogenization,re-entertainment and advertising placement of cultural quality problems and their reasons are discussed,rethink the cultural value pursuit of slow variety.At the same time,based on the above-mentioned carding and analysis,some suggestions on the optimization and development of Chinese slow variety show in the future are put forward.
