Cultivating children is vital to the future of the country.In the growth and development of children,books and reading carry the mission of civilizati--on inheritance,which can actively affect children's behavior and thinking.Under the cultural background that China attaches great importance to family education and nationwide reading,because the family is an important part of society,family reading plays a vital role in children's development.And the creation of family reading environment not only needs family's effort,but also needs public librarys which Guarantee the basic reading rights of citizens.Based on the above contents,this research combines theoretical study and empirical study to analysis library factors in the creation of family reading environment.The ideas of theoretical research are as follows:(1)Research background and significance,research ideas and methods,and research design;(2)Concept definition and literature review;(3)Qualitative analysis of library factors in the creation of family reading environment.According to theoretical research,libra--ry influences the physical environment of family reading through three dimen--sions: family reading materials,space facilities and time.And the library infl--uences the psychological environment of family reading also through three dimensions: concept shaping,ability cultivation and behavior cultivation.The empirical research is based on PIRLS.The main ideas are as follows:(1)Through field research and network research,this part analyzed the resource construction,brand construction and family reading service characteristics of Suzhou Library;(2)Through the reading literacy test,this part quantitatively analyzed how library factors affect children in the creation of family reading environment,and finds out the needs of children;(3)Through the questionnai--re,this part quantitatively analyzed how library factors affect parents and families in the creation of family reading environment,and finds out the chara cteristics and needs of parents and families.Through theoretical research and empirical research,the following conclusi ons can be drawn.For children:(1)In terms of reading behavior developme--nt,it helps to improve children's love of reading,enhance children's interest in reading learning,and improve children' s self-confidence of their reading ability;(2)In terms of improving reading ability,it not only helps children achieve reading purposes,but also helps children understand the reading conte--nt in each dimension.For parents,who attach importance to library factors usually hold a positive attitude towards reading.The main family characteristics are as follows:(1)Great emphasis on the construction of family reading resou--rces;(2)High interest and long time in reading,large collection of books;(3)More attention is paid to children' s reading guidance and reading education.The above positive factors have obviously improven children' s reading ability,and given children an advantage over their peers.In addition,this research proposes the following strategies for library serv--ices:(1)Grasp the core advantages and highlight the service focus;(2)Streng then ties and enhance service stickiness;(3)Pay attention to the role of paren--ts and balance the focus of service;(4)Fasten the times Pulse,in line with the trend of the times.In conclusion,library factors have a positive impact on the creation of family reading environment,which is not only conducive to shaping a family environment that is more fond of reading,more beneficial to reading and more conducive to development,but also can cultivate family education consciousne--ss and practice that is more conducive to the improvement of reading ability and the all-round development of people.Therefore,following and developing the path of library factors in the creation of family reading environment will help the creation of family reading environment,the development of family reading,the construction of scholarly society,and the growth and development of children and whole society.
