A Study Of Constructive Journalism Practice In Urban Media ——Taking "Chengshi Direct Train" Of The Urban Express As An Example

In recent years,constructive journalism has emerged along with the changes of western media environment,and penetrated into the production and practice of media around the world.This paper places "constructive journalism" in the Chinese context,defines the differences among people's livelihood news,public news and constructive journalism in urban media,and explores the process of their development and evolution.With the support of frame theory and field theory,this paper takes the "Chengshi Direct Train" of Hangzhou Urban Express as a study case.What's more,the paper aims to sort out the production characteristics,practice path and interaction mechanism of representative constructive journalism columns of urban media in China through content analysis,in-depth interview and other methods.It was found that the column adopts the double-line parallel mode of "top-down" and "bottom-up" in the selection of information sources.At the same time,in the presentation of information sources,it reflects the pluralistic balance between he public discourse and the government/elite discourse.The selection of topics shows the media focuses on the field of urban life and the political framework is obvious.With the complete reporting structure of asking questions-explaining incentives-moral evaluation-providing practical solutions,and using flexible and diverse report strategies,the column completes the constructive framework construction of local urban media.In addition,Chinese and Western constructive journalism differ in their background and application goals.It can be found that the historical line of development of Chinese journalism has always contained many characteristics of constructive journalism,and permeated with the subject,content and service targets.The production logic and the focus of intervention in Chinese media are more reflected in the role transformation of journalists and their "creative conformism" to the political field.The production and practice of "Chengshi Direct Train" reflects the realistic influence of internal and external fields on news.In the interaction between government,media and citizens,a three-way benign interaction mode of mutual promotion has been formed.The level of social governance in which the government plays a leading role and diverse social entities participate in coordination has been improved.
