| Jiangsu TV city channel's broadcasting of "Nanjing zero distance" , brought a new mode--people's livelihood news to Chinese TV news. This new and fresh news program quickly became popular, which not only quickly won the trust of the audience, but also began a big earthquake in China's television media, and the discussion on it never stopped.However, since its birth, there have been lots of shortcomings. Each station actively set up people's livelihood news programs as long as it can attract people's attention, and it seems that they just consider it a success from higher audience rating, so that the news are too vulgar, petty, and of narrow horizon. This is obviously due to our livelihood news's practice is not yet mature.October 8th, 2004, Liaoning TV launched a livelihood news program《XinBeiFang》, which started a craze for Livelihood News, and its audience rating quickly rose and the program won the Liaoshen audience's trust in just a few months. Started in the same news fiery trend,《XinBeiFang》actively explored livelihood news in practice, searched the real quality, strived to overcome the existed and ongoing shortcomes and inadequacies and strided forward to its own journalism ideal.From the current status and shortcomings of China's Livelihood News, take Liaoning TV Livelihood News program《XinBeiFang》as the main study object, analyze its development and innovation in TV Livelihood News practice, and also the embodiment of "public journalism" concept in the practical operation and explain how the media play the strength to build a harmonious society, promote socialist spiritual civilization, and shoulder their social responsibilities. Through above discussion, we can draw such a conclusion that after it made up past mistakes, upgraded the news quality, and blended the "public journalism" concept, Livelihood News will have even broader prospect for development. Meanwhile, I also hope this study can offer as reference for exploring the Chinese characteristics "public journalism" mode. |
