There are typical differences in the cognitive tendencies and usage behaviors of groups in different realities, and these different realities are basically characterized by geography, and the economic and cultural social environments in different regions are characterized by labeling differences, with urban and rural areas being the most typical opposites. In this paper,we focus on two groups of young college graduates who have studied in urban colleges and universities, and after graduation, some of they stay in urban areas and the others return to the county and village respectively.Based on the research,it was found that, based on their similar educational backgrounds and new media behaviors, they make adjustments to their new media behaviors in response to changes in the external environment. At the same time, the interaction with their associated social groups influences their choice of media discourse system, and their use of new media constructs their identity and helps to achieve group inclusion;while their multidimensional demands as individuals shape and adjust their new media behavior from the perspective of subjectivity.Whether they are in the city or in the county, these young people will find a dynamic balance between active and passive in the conspiracy of internal and external factors, and will beautify the passive part of their cognition, turning passivity into active self-cognition,thus constructing the subjectivity and rationality in the new media behavior.Through the new media, they perceive their own field and establish their own position in the field, establish relationships with other actors, and gain competitive advantages in the field in the process of self-actualization.
