For minority areas, tourism is an important way for rural social and economic development. The development of tourism has expanded the scope of social exchanges among ethnic minority villages, enriched the media and forms within the villages, brought about the concepts and knowledge of globalization and modernization, and ultimately promoted the change of local social relations. This study attempts to use"space production"as a research perspective, using participatory observation,in-depth interviews and other research methods to analyze how the daily life space, ritual space and media space and power space of Qibie Village change during the process of rural tourism development.Investigate the practical process and dynamics of spatial mediation and the impact and dilemma that tourism development has brought to the production of rural social space. The spatial reproduction brought about by rural tourism development is different from the spatial production logic that is dominated by government power and centered on local culture and local identity. The reproduction of the space of daily life shows the transformation of space from "dominated" to "utilized".The ritual space gradually becomes an open symbol space, which is re-encoded and decoded by different subjects to form new rituals and cultural mechanisms in the village. The market, the government, and the villagers promote the reproduction of the media space,so that the production process of the space appears from the media space to the real space and then back to the media space. The government not only uses space production to realize the discipline of rural society, but also uses the mass media to realize the justification of the development of rural tourism development in the village. In the past, political power played a leading role in the village. With the development of rural tourism, the injection of foreign capital and the development of villagers and villas represented the strengthening of economic power and the increasing cultural power to become an important driving force for rural social development. In general, the process of social space reproduction in Qibie Village also reflects the process of spatial mediation. This not only allows the villagers to have a new understanding of their daily life space and the countryside, but also strengthens the villagers'ability to handle and use the information obtained to better live.Through a case study of rural tourism development and rural social space reproduction, the author tries to understand the spread of space production, understand the spread, heterogeneity and procedural nature of space, and try to expand the scope of rural social studies in communication,no longer just limited to the influence of the mass media or changes in certain modes of communication, and preconceived that media change must bring powerful effects and significant social impact.Rather,it returns to the rural social life, searching for the meaning that for rural society, what is communication and the relationship between communication and rural society in a specific time and space, and focusing on the procedural nature of this meaning and relationship production.
