with the progress and evolution of mobile Internet as well as the boom of information techonology,the problem of "digital divide" has gradually emerged and become a social problem that can not be ignored.To some extent,the current situation of children indicates the development trend of the future society.Information in the digital age is productivity.Children's media literacy ability directly affects whether they can keep up with the pace of the times.Media use is the basis of media literacy.This paper mainly uses questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews to understand the current situation of children's media use between urban and rural areas This paper studies their similarities and differences in media contact,information processing,information production and other aspects,and further analyzes the reasons for the similarities and differences in the use of urban and rural children's media according to the survey results,and explores the ways to improve the media literacy of urban and rural children.The study found that: in the choice of media contact in daily life,urban primary school respondents tend to more extracurricular books,magazines and other media,while rural primary school respondents tend to more television,mobile phones and other new media,and the purpose of use tends to entertainment.In contrast,the interviewees of urban primary school have a stronger ability to obtain information,and they pay more attention to the means and content.They use the media more,while the interviewees of rural primary school mainly follow the information in the media,and have no clear concept of the information they are exposed to.In addition,the respondents in urban primary schools are more skeptical about receiving information,and have a clear attitude against bad information.At the end of the research,the paper makes some suggestions on it from three categories: family,school and society.They are: parents set an example,strengthen the sense of concept and management;train teachers,decompose knowledge and carry out relevant courses;use relevant public welfare social groups to carry out assistance and strengthen social supervision for minors.
