Research On The Development Trend Of Automatic Guided Vehicle (AGV) Technology Based On Patent Intelligence Analysis

With the continuous development of economy,especially the concepts of Smart Logistics and Made in China 2025 and other concepts deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,automated guided vehicle(AGV)plays an increasingly important role in flexible manufacturing and intelligent logistics.AGV has made rapid development in our country,but some core technologies still need to be broken through.In order to further grasp the information on the hot spots and evolution trends of AGV,this study explores the technological development trend of AGV based on patent intelligence.Taking the Derwent Innovations Index as the data source,this paper comprehensively uses a variety of research methods such as patent bibliomatrics,time series analysis and social network analysis method to analyze the development trend of AGV technology from many aspects.Specifically,it mainly involves the following work.Firstly,this paper elaborates the research background,research purpose and significance of this thesis.The basic framework and methods of the research are introduced.In addition,the automated guided vehicle and its technology,patent analysis and application of patent analysis in AGV are reviewed.Secondly,obtain and standardize the data needed for the research.Taking patent bibliomatrics,time series analysis,social network analysis and other methods,using the number of patent applications,the number of patent literature citations,patent hindex,technical breadth,etc.as the research indicators,the overall development trend of global AGV and China's AGV is analyzed from the perspectives of technology time development trend,regional layout,applicants,and technical themes.Finally,positioning and guidance system,drive and steering system are selected as key technical branches.From the level of specific technical fields,the time series analysis of patent applications and the analysis of key applicants were carried out.And select the key patents to draw the patent roadmap to study its development route.The study found that at the overall technical level of automatic guided vehicle,automatic guided vehicle technology is booming,and China's patent applications are leading and growing rapidly.China,Japan,the United States,Germany,and South Korea are the main technology source countries,and China's patent quality is relatively low.Only a few Chinese applicants have international competitiveness,and the applicants have less external cooperation.The research intensity of different technical topics varies greatly,and China has formed a relatively obvious research direction.At the key technical level of automatic guided vehicle,the technology research and development of guidance positioning systems is active,and various guidance and positioning methods are developing together.Chinese applicants continue to exert their efforts in drive steering systems.High performance and high adaptability are important development trend.And four related suggestions are put forward according to the research conclusions.
