Since 2010,the copyright introduction model of overseas variety shows has attracted much attention in China.China's major satellite TV stations and video platforms have begun to shift their attention to the introduction of overseas variety shows.Many introduced variety shows have been widely praised after being broadcast in China,which has also set off a wave of buying the copyright of overseas variety shows.During this period,there were many phenomenal variety shows,such as Zhejiang TV's Running Man,Hunan TV's Dad,Dad,and Dragon TV's Sister Figure.Therefore,after 2010,the introduction of Chinese variety shows quickly occupied the Chinese variety show market,which enriched the variety show types and also promoted the development of the Chinese variety show market.This article believes that the introduction of variety show to win ratings and reputation,realize the sustainable development of the program in China environment,must be localization innovation,this is given the different political,economic,cultural background,the two countries audience habits,audience preferences,and the two countries variety production mode,traditional,etc.It is not difficult to introduce overseas variety shows,but it is not so easy to remake them after the introduction,which is why the introduction of overseas variety shows has gradually become better,while some have long disappeared.Therefore,the author choose to overseas variety localization innovation as the research direction,and choose mango TV overseas introduced variety show "star detective" as the research object,is to explore a in the Chinese environment,suitable for variety localization development path,make overseas variety can take root in China's soil,thrive.This paper is based on "cross-cultural communication" and "secondary coding",mainly from four aspects:The first part introduces the development of Mango TV platform and Mango TV introduced variety shows,and analyzes the Korean variety show Crime Scene andChinese variety show Star Detective on the program,program setting and audience participation form.The second part is to analyze the motivation of the localization practice of the variety show Detective Star,mainly including the cultural system,values,industry development and audience reception characteristics of China and South Korea.The third part compares the two programs in terms of content,program form and communication channels,presenting the specific practice of localization and innovation of the variety show of Detective Star,which makes them basically separated from the original version and become its own school.The fourth part is divided into the enlightenment of the localization of Detective Star on the development of Chinese variety shows.It is proposed that variety shows should win by content,and new content is the foundation,and should be based on national conditions.No development should be divorced from reality or the social responsibility of the media.This paper believes that the analysis of the localization and innovation road of the Star Detective Variety Show is practical and exemplary,which can provide a learning direction for the introduction and development of overseas variety shows,and is also beneficial to the development of China's variety show industry.
