Research On Inner Mongolia Daily’ News Reports On The Fight Against Poverty（2018-2020）

In February,2021,the National Conference to Review the Fight Against Poverty and Commend Individuals and Groups Involved was held ceremoniously in the Great Hall of the People.At the conference,General Secretary Xi Jinping declared that China has won an all-round victory in the fight against poverty.As the frontier region of ethnic minorities,the Nei Monggol Autonomous Region is not only the main battlefield for the fight against poverty,but also an important public opinion propaganda field for the reports of fighting against poverty.Inner Mongolia Daily,as an important party newspaper in the Nei Monggol Autonomous Region,has given full play to the advantages and responsibilities of the party media in the major themed reports on the fight against poverty,created a good atmosphere of public awareness and participation,actively publicized and carried forward the spirit of fighting against poverty,and contributed to telling the story of the fight against poverty in Inner Mongolia.This paper took Inner Mongolia Daily’s reports on the fight against poverty from 2018 to 2020 as the research object.By adopting the research methods of content analysis and case analysis,it summarized and sorted out Inner Mongolia Daily’s reports on the fight against poverty from the number,subject,source and keynote of the reports respectively,and summarized the characteristics of Inner Mongolia Daily’s reports on the fight against poverty.In terms of the reporting content,it skillfully used rhetoric to express the content,made good use of numbers to express objectively,and skillfully used hot spots to combine presentations;In term of reporting methods,the photo reports were prominent,the genres of reporting were diverse,and the long-form reports were deeply explored;In terms of reporting topics,it focused on assistance measures,showed the achievements of the fight against poverty,and established a typical example of fighting against poverty;In terms of reporting page layout,the content of fighting against poverty was placed on the important page,the page distribution was flexible,and special pages and special issues were added.However,there are still some shortcomings in Inner Mongolia Daily’s reports on the fight against poverty,such as modeled reporting structure,not comprehensive reporting content and unbalanced reporting topics.Therefore,based on these problems and combined with the common problems in the major themed reports of local party newspapers,the author put forward some strategies,such as breaking the routine and enriching the content,based on the local region and focusing on the audience,expanding the framework and balancing the issues,etc.,so that local party newspapers can give full play to the role of agenda setting and public opinion guidance in the following major themed reports such as consolidating the achievements of the fight against poverty and effectively connection of rural revitalization strategies,etc.
