| UAVs and flying birds have the characteristics of small radar scattering area,low flying altitude and strong maneuverability.They are typical low-observability targets and pose severe challenges to low-altitude monitoring such as urban security and airway safety.The most prominent feature of the two-dimensional phased array radar is that the beam has no inertia and rapid agility,with a reasonable signal processing process.The two-dimensional phased array radar can detect and track low observable targets in the airspace in real time in all directions,and can High-data rate tracking of multiple targets in the covered airspace,detection and tracking of UAVs and birds,and early warning for low-altitude supervision.Therefore,this research has certain practical significance.The main work of this thesis is to design and implement the signal processing of two-dimensional phased array radar based on Field Programmable Gate Array(FPGA).The thesis first introduces radar signal processing algorithms,including digital down-conversion,pulse compression,moving target indicator,moving target detection,constant false alarm rate,angle measurement,and algorithm simulation on Matlab.Secondly,according to the actual application requirements and system indicators of the scheme,a two-dimensional phased array radar signal processing system based on FPGA is designed.The design has three main modules,an algorithm module,an interface module,and a resource scheduling module;the algorithm module realizes the digital radar signal processing process,Including digital down conversion module,pulse compression module,moving target detection module,constant false alarm rate module;interface module includes FPGA and digital-to-analog conversion interface module,FPGA and external memory interface module,Ethernet port between FPGA and host computer Interface module;the resource scheduling module realizes the spatial division.Finally,build a hardware debugging platform to debug and verify each module of the system and verify the overall function of the entire radar processing system.Finally,the UAV is used to verify the search power,blind spot power and multi-target tracking ability of the four-sided two-dimensional phased array radar.The test results show that the radar can detect power of 5km,the power of blind spot is 432.9m,and it can track 4UAVs at the same time,which meets the index requirements and meets the design expectations. |
