At present,with the promotion of the national double first-class plan,the construction of academic disciplines is receiving more and more attention.Disciplines are the basis for the construction and foundation of a university,and by promoting the vigorous development of each discipline thus promoting the development level of each university in China.As a profound service mode that serves the disciplines,it takes the needs of users as the guide,subject librarians as the bridge,subject service platform as the carrier,and subject resources as the basis,and provides professional and personalized subject services to users at different levels,so that the library can integrate into the users' study,research and teaching.Subject services can help users to solve their problems in learning,research and teaching,so as to achieve the purpose of discipline construction.This paper takes the libraries of "double first-class" universities as the research object,conducts a research on the development of their discipline services,and puts forward corresponding suggestions in view of their existing problems,in order to provide reference for other university libraries to develop discipline services.This paper contains the following six parts: the first part is the introduction,which explains the background and significance of this paper,analyses the current situation of the research on disciplinary services at home and abroad,and introduces the research ideas,research methods and innovation points of this paper.The second part is the overview,which introduces the content of disciplinary services,the characteristics of disciplinary services and the significance of the development of disciplinary services,and also introduces the mode of disciplinary services.The third part is The third part is a survey and analysis,which investigates the current situation of the development of disciplinary services in the libraries of "double first-class" universities in China,and analyzes it from six aspects,such as disciplinary service institutions and disciplinary librarians,disciplinary information resources and disciplinary service platforms;then investigates the users' awareness,demand and satisfaction of disciplinary services by means of questionnaires,and conducts a descriptive analysis of the survey results.The fourth part is about achievements and problems,through the survey and analysis in the third part,we discuss the achievements and problems in the development of the subject services of the "double first-class" university libraries,such as the problems in the awareness of subject services,subject service platform and subject librarians,etc.The fifth part is about The fifth part is the corresponding countermeasures,combining the problems mentioned in the fourth part,so as to propose corresponding countermeasures and provide effective suggestions for the development of disciplinary services in the "double first-class" university libraries in China.The sixth part concludes the paper and explains the shortcomings of the study and the prospect of future disciplinary services in university libraries.
