Analysis And Optimization Of Public Library Image Based On User Comments

The image of public libraries is something that must be taken seriously and noted in the development process of public libraries.A good public image helps to enhance the visibility and reputation of libraries,which in turn is conducive to the development and long-term development of library work.Users' comments on the image of public libraries reflect the image of libraries and services in the eyes of users,and influence the dissemination of the image of public libraries.In order to understand the current situation of the image of public libraries in the minds of users,this paper analyses the image of public libraries from the user reviews on the website of “Dianping”.This paper uses methods such as literature research and content analysis,taking my country's provincial public libraries as the object,and based on the user comments of provincial public libraries in Dianping.com,constructing an analysis framework and analyzing the users' opinions of provincial public libraries.And analyzing the public library image in the mind of users from the cognition and emotional preference of its image;and observes the changing trend of public library image in user evaluation from the perspective of time and geography.The above analysis shows that there are still many problems with the image of public libraries.These problems mainly include the openness in the image of services,the disorganized management of collections in the image of resources,and the insufficient carrying capacity in the image of facilities,And disorderly management in the image of management,and poor service attitude and quality in the image of librarians,etc.Therefore,based on these issues,the following strategies are proposed to optimize the image of public libraries: simplify the borrowing rules and increase the degree of openness;improve the shelving of books and enhance the quality of collections;improve the supporting facilities and optimize the layout of space;reduce the admission requirements and strengthen the order management;and review the librarian team and improve the image of librarians.The management and optimization of the image of public libraries is a dynamic project.It is necessary to combine multiple factors that affect the public library image,give full play to the role of each factor,and be guided by the needs of users throughout the entire public library work to enhance user experience,and improve the users' sense of recognition of public libraries.
