The rapid development of mobile Internet technology has spawned a variety of new media.New technology has changed the way people receive information,and it brings unprecedented impact to the traditional media represented by paper media,such as the loss of users,the decline of advertising revenue,the departure of media people,etc.As the mainstream media in Guangdong Province,N Daily Media Group is also facing the same problem.Challenges and opportunities coexist.In recent years,N Daily Media Group has stepped into a new stage of development by constantly exploring the road of media integration and transformation.This paper mainly studies the development of traditional media in the context of mobile Internet from the perspective of competitive strategy theory.First of all,through the domestic and foreign media industry,business model and other related theories to sort out the literature.This paper introduces the theory of competitive strategy and the development of mobile Internet.Secondly,it expounds the development dilemma and reasons of N Media Group under the background of mobile Internet.Through the theory of "Five Forces Model",this paper analyzes in detail the macro environment,industry environment,internal resources and capabilities,advantages and disadvantages of the development of N Daily Media Group.Then,the paper studies the development of N Daily Media Group from three basic competitive strategies: cost leading strategy,differentiation strategy and focusing strategy.Finally,the paper determines the competitive strategy of N Daily Media Group.
