With the evolution of modern civilization and the prosperity of scientific rationality,rituals have gradually expanded from the sacred realm to the secular realm.Ritual activities also broken through traditional religious sites and slowly penetrated into our daily lives.In the field of mass communication,the mass media represented by television is also gradually ritualized.In particular,some cultural programs rely on ritual content and ritualized communication,which not only makes the program have some characteristics of ritual,but also makes the program itself become a "media ritual".This paper takes China in the Story as the research object,first introduces the basic situation of the program,then interprets the program from the perspective of media rituals,and focuses on analyzing the basis and path of the program's ritual construction,and finally summarizes the enlightenment and introspection of the program's ritual construction.It is hoped that some constructive suggestions can be provided for other cultural programs in telling Chinese stories and enhancing cultural confidence in order to give full play to the function of propaganda and education and the value of spiritual guidance.China in the Story was produced based on the specific era background,political background and cultural background.The theme and content selected by it is integrated with authenticity,thought and art,which can enhance emotional resonance,promote cultural identity and enhance the value of the times.This program not only has the ritual content,but also carries on the ritualized communication,makes the program itself to some extent also become a kind of "media ritual".Through the creation and communication of symbolic symbols such as language symbols,environmental symbols and character symbols,China in the Story not only realizes the transmission of physical spatial information,but also realizes the sharing of psychological spatial meaning and completes the foundation of ritual construction.The path of ritual construction of this program has experienced a series of continuous practice processes,such as "national presence" ritual planning,programmed ritual presentation and cross-media ritual interaction.In the dynamic practice of ritual participation and ritual interaction,the audience's collective memory is awakened and emotional resonance is generated.The identity transformation from spectator to participant is completed,and finally the recognition of self identity,social value,national culture and other levels is realized.China in the Story brings the classics into reality and makes the world taste China.It is just the practice of telling Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voices.It also provides some inspiration for other cultural programs: One is to expand the time and space of the ritual reasonably to enhance the identity,the other is to select the content of the ritual carefully to enhance the value identity,and the third is to use the ritual exhibition scientifically to enhance the national identity.Through the innovative expression of classics,China in the Story vividly answers the times proposition of how to tell Chinese stories well and enhance cultural confidence.
