Research On Observational Variety Shows In My Country From The Perspective Of Drama Theory

Since 2018,observational variety shows have gradually entered the public eye on a large scale.This brand-new program form,which not only retains the entertainment nature of traditional variety shows,but also has the documentary nature of documentaries,has been highly praised by the audience.The types and forms of programs are also constantly developing and innovating,therefore,it is necessary to make a systematic summary and research on the current observational variety shows.Firstly,reviews the development of observational variety shows and defines their specific types.Secondly,from the perspective of Goffman's drama theory,the observational variety show is regarded as a specific stage situation.The main frame of this paper is to analyze the observational variety shows and their guests in the basic of the preparation before the stage performance,the self-presentation during the stage performance and the image construction after the stage performance.Finally,through analysis,the problems existing in the current programs are found and solutions are given,thereby optimizing the development of observation-type variety shows in China.
