The rapid development of the Internet content industry has given rise to a new career:platform content creators.More and more content creators make money by releasing their creative content on various platforms.In a variety of different media forms,short video is favored by more users for its more vivid display form compared with the previous way of pictures and texts.The large-scale users of short video also brings new challenges to short video platforms,for various users means diverse needs."Entertainment" is no longer the only purpose for users to watch short videos.The diversity of user needs requires the construction of a richer content ecology for short video platforms,and the essence of market competition in short video industry is content competition.In this background,content creators with their unique advantages in content field are favored by major"we media" platforms.From the perspective of content creators,and under the market environment that short video industry booming,this paper analyzes the market opportunities faced by content creators when they enter Tiktok platform,as well as what entry strategies they can adopt,in order to provide theoretical support for content creators to enter Tiktok platform.Among the numerous "we media" platforms,Tiktok has the largest user scale and the richest profit model.The advantages of Tiktok platform for content creators are reflected in the following aspects:Firstly,large scale of users;Secondly,the platform distribution system is based on content;Thirdly,the platform's demand for "content+commerce" ecological construction is more friendly to content creators.With the increasing demand for commercialization of Tiktok platform,more groups can be covered under the platform business model,and the commercial value of Tiktok platform is gradually emerging,which also provides business opportunities for content creators.This paper uses secondary data research method,observation method,summarization and induction method,and the data sources in this paper are mainly secondary data released publicly.Through this study,exploring the content creators to realize self value and commercial value in Tiktok platform.Finally it is concluded that it is very suitable for content creators to enter Tiktok at the present stage,which provides a theoretical guidance for content creators.The innovation of this paper lies in the research angle.As Tiktok is an internet product that has only developed in recent years.With industry development ahead of theoretical research,content creators on the platform have received little academic attention so far.The profit model for short video creators is also gradually various.Existing literature analysis of Tiktok mainly focuses on the platform business model,platform algorithm recommendation mechanism,content characteristics and other perspectives.From the perspective of content creators,this paper deeply analyzes the market opportunities and entry strategies they face on Tiktok platform.
