Patent Competitive Intelligence includes technical,economic and legal information,through the analysis of patent competitive intelligence,we can find out the latest technical research results,research hotspots and future development direction of the industry,these information plays an important role in improving the technological innovation ability of the industry.Under the background of the project of "Patent Navigation of Jiujiang Silicone Industry",this paper selects Jiujiang silicone industry as the research object,and analyzes the application of patent competitive intelligence in the industry,through the research methods of patent information analysis and comparative analysis,this paper analyzes the patent status of Jiujiang silicone industry and its patent competitors,and compares and analyzes the differences between Jiujiang silicone industry and its patent competitors,finally,based on the analysis of Patent Competitive Intelligence of Jiujiang silicone industry,the corresponding development suggestions are put forward.The main conclusions are as follows:From the patent analysis of Jiujiang silicone industry,the number of patent applications of Jiujiang silicone industry is 274,which is currently in the development stage,and the patent applications maintain a stable growth rate at an average annual growth rate of 16.89%;Technology branches can be divided into product types,system devices,applications,process methods and others.In terms of application volume,monomers and silicone resin are the weak parts;Enterprises occupy a dominant position in the patent application of Jiujiang silicone industry,and important inventors are also concentrated in enterprises,the overall R?D strength of enterprises is stronger than that of scientific research institutions in Colleges and universities;The patent operation is mainly based on internal transfer,and the operation form is relatively simple.From the patent analysis of patent competitors,the silicone industry in Suzhou,Guangzhou and Hangzhou is developing well,with 1808,1252 and 893 patent applications respectively;The patentee has a strong awareness of patent maintenance,and the survival rate of authorized patents is maintained at about 80%;University scientific research institutions master the main technology in this technical field,the comprehensive competitiveness of enterprises is low,and there is no competitive advantage.From the comparative analysis with patent competitors,in terms of the effective patent maintenance rate of the industry,Jiujiang has the highest effective patent maintenance rate,which has remained above 90.00%since 2008,and the effective patent maintenance rate of Suzhou,Guangzhou and Hangzhou is relatively low;In terms of the correlation between the number of citations of authorized patents in the industry and the duration of patent maintenance,the correlation coefficient R2 value of Jiujiang is the largest,which is 0.4415,and the correlation coefficient R2 values of Hangzhou,Guangzhou and Suzhou are 0.0347,0.0216 and 0.0014 respectively;In terms of the activity of technological innovation in the industry,Jiujiang has 274 patent applications,and the average annual growth rate of patents is 16.89%,and the activity of technological innovation is low;In terms of industrial patent cooperation relationship,the number of cooperative patents among Jiujiang applicants is small,and the degree of cooperation is low;In terms of the average value of patents in the industry,the average value of patents in Jiujiang is low,and patents are mostly distributed in the improvement quadrant;In terms of the comprehensive competitive position of the industry,Jiujiang is a technological laggard,Guangzhou and Suzhou are technological leaders,and Hangzhou is between potential competitors and technological leaders.Based on the above analysis,it is proposed to strengthen the combination of industry,education and research,promote patent alliance,strengthen key technology research and development and patent layout,talent introduction and cultivation,and establish patent competition intelligence department to promote the development of Jiujiang silicone industry.
