With the continuous advancement of the technical level of liquid crystal displays,consumer groups have continuously increased their requirements for this aspect,mainly for flat-panel computers and other products,and for liquid crystal products,they mainly value light and thin.The thinner and thinner and high resolution of LCD modules not only increase the technical difficulty of product design,but also increase the difficulty of production processing and the difficulty of product process control.As the main manufacturer of Apple’s tablet PCs,Company G,the new product LCD module JI launched by Customer A,has relatively poor quality level of COF bonding compared with competitors,and high COF bonding failure rate.It also brought problems such as product heavy industry to the enterprise,and also affected the delivery of customers,causing customers to complain.Therefore,the quality of LCD module products urgently needs to be improved.This article takes Lean Six Sigma quality management technology in the improvement of tablet PC LCD module quality as the research object,based on the actual status of G company quality management,explains the purpose of introducing Lean Six Sigma,and then introduces the relevant core theories and main research methods of Lean Six Sigma.Taking the improvement of the yield rate of the LCD module COF Bonding process as the main axis,DMAIC is used as the main step for quality improvement,with the help of statistical analysis tools,the production process of the product JI section is the project scope,combined with causal matrix analysis methods and failure model analysis Through specific analysis,find out the significant factors that affect the COF bonding of the LCD module,and then use sampling theory,conduct experimental verification,and achieve quality control of the production process through certain improvement methods;finally,summarize and evaluate the improvement results.Effective improvement measures and key process control factors are included in the production quality control plan,and operational standardized documents are formed,and daily inspection items are added to ensure the implementation of the control plan and the effective operation of the quality management system.The company uses Lean Six Sigma-related management methods to further improve the quality of LCD modules and the level of manufacturing management,and achieve the estimated project improvement goals.The product unqualified rate is greatly reduced,thereby effectively reducing material scrap and related heavy industry costs,improving the overall quality of products,successfully reaching the delivery date,improving customer satisfaction,and further improving the overall competitiveness of the company.
