The joint scheduling of multiple phased array radars is conducive to giving full play to the multifunctional characteristics of phased array radars,which improves the survivability of radar systems in complex scenarios.Multiple phased array radars have the functions of multi-target and multi-task,however,the realization of which depends on the comprehensive management and reasonable optimization of task scheduling.Recently,the research on task scheduling mainly focuses on the task prioritization determination methods and adaptive task scheduling algorithms.To address the task scheduling problems of multi-target tracking by multiple phased array radars,based on the previous research,this paper designs a fuzzy logic system to determine the priorities of tasks,and proposes multiple phased array radars task scheduling algorithms under different scenarios based on the knapsack problems.Priority determination is the basis of multiple phased array radars task scheduling.For the characteristics of information sharing in multiple phased array radars,this paper uses the fuzzy logic system to determine the priorities of radar tasks based on the priori information of tracking targets,such as distance,speed,threat level and hostility level,etc.In order to avoid the thinking inconsistency with too many fuzzy rules,analytic hierarchy process is used to establish the fuzzy rule base.The design of scheduling algorithm is the core of multiple phased array radars task scheduling.Aiming at whether the responsibility areas of multiple phased array radars coincide or not,in this paper,the task scheduling algorithm design of multiple phased array radars is studied from two aspects:multi-radar task scheduling based on target selection and target allocation.Classical task scheduling algorithms cannot increase the number of tracked targets while guaranteeing important targets tracking.To address this situation,the objective function of the multi-radar task scheduling algorithm based on target selection is to maximize the sum of priorities of tracking targets.And the target selection algorithm based on knapsack problems is proposed,which effectively improves the hit value ratio of the scheduling algorithm.To solve the target allocation and time planning problems in the design of multi-radar task scheduling algorithm based on target allocation,a target allocation algorithm based on knapsack problems is proposed in this paper.By jointly implementing target allocation and time planning when time resources are limited,the algorithm ensures the tracking of important targets and increases the number of tracked targets.Considering the constraint of work deadline,this paper proposes an improved target allocation algorithm based on knapsack problem.Finally,this paper integrates the above research contents,and designs and implements the multiple phased array radars task scheduling research platform with the App Designer in MATLAB,which provides tools for future research on task scheduling of multiple phased array radars.
