With the development of the global economy,enterprises are facing increasingly fierce competition in the market,among which intellectual property competition is particularly prominent.When an enterprise's new product enters the market,it will face the patent barriers arranged by leading enterprises in the industry.The existence of patent barriers may hinder the sales of new products or cause companies to pay high patent royalties,which seriously affects the development of the company and further affects the economic development of our country.In order to break through patent barriers,companies must carry out technological innovation and develop products with core competitiveness.Patent circumvention design is one of the main strategies for companies to break through patent barriers.In the traditional patent circumvention design,the designer mainly designs the patent circumvention scheme based on the analysis of the target patent technology system,combined with his own design experience,corporate knowledge base,and the Theory of Inventive Problem Solving(TRIZ).In the traditional patent circumvention design,the TRIZ tool mainly solves how to do it,focusing on qualitative analysis.The lack of research on the direction of patent circumvention and the core enterprises of the industry,resulting in improved products lacking core competitiveness.In addition,the traditional patent circumvention design process lacks a systematic optimization process,and the patent circumvention design schemes may have potential failure modes,causing the quality and reliability of the designed product to fail to meet customer needs.Based on this,this paper proposes an innovative design system for patent circumvention based on the fusion of TRIZ and Design for Six Sigma(DFSS).The main research contents are as follows:1.Obtain patent search keywords according to customer needs,search related patents through the Boolean logic search formula composed of IPC classification numbers and keywords,and perform patent screening to obtain a valid patent database.Analyze and mine the demand information in related patent documents in the patent database,and form a customer demand domain together with customer needs,and the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to calculate the importance of customer demand in the demand domain.2.Formulate technical characteristics according to customer needs,build a house of quality and explore technical contradictions in technical characteristics,the TRIZ method is used to obtain invention principles that solve technical contradictions,and provide innovative ideas for patent circumvention design.The RPQE-RPAE Four-quadrant diagram is used to determine the competitive target company,and then determine the target patent,use the function analysis method in the TRIZ method to analyze the target patent,and take the target patent function model diagram analysis result and the importance of the aforementioned technical characteristics as a reference,determine the direction of target patent evasion.3.Based on the target patent circumvention direction and related invention principles,summarize the key words of the target patent innovation design,search the keywords in the patent database to obtain the relevant patents,and use them as the reference patents of the innovative design.4.The Anticipatory Failure Determination(AFD)is used to optimize the design of the innovative target patented technology system,analyze the possible causes of failure scenarios,and use the object-field model analysis method and patent portfolio design method in the TRIZ method solve the corresponding problem.5.Take related patents of sludge dryer as an example to verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed patent circumvention innovative design system.
