Research On Pei Tong’s Thought Of Archival Utilization

Pei Tong has been engaged in archival work since he entered the Materials Department of the Secretariat of the General Office of the CPC Central Committee in 1940,served as the deputy director of the Central Archives in 1959,and then joined the Chinese Archival Society after his retirement in 1981.Pei Tong is one of the pioneers of China’s Archival Enterprise,a famous archivist.After half a century of archival work and academic research,Pei Tong always adhere to the archival knowledge,tally up experience from the archival work,new technology,actively contact learning files update file using the theoretical system in practice,the construction of the archival undertaking of our country and the formation of archival theory has an irreplaceable significance.Pei Tong’s thoughts on the utilization of archives have been constantly enriched and improved,from knowing nothing about the utilization of archives when he first entered the department of materials to actively providing the utilization of archives,and then to proposing the development of archive information resources and the modernization of archival utilization.At present,compared with scholars such as Zeng San and Wu Baokang,the number of researches on Pei Tong’s thoughts of archival science is relatively small,and the related researches all choose to study Pei Tong’s thoughts of archival science from a macro perspective,and few study Pei Tong’s thoughts of archival utilization from the perspective of utilization.This paper selects Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought as the research object,hoping to clarify the relevant content of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought,and enrich the research content of Pei Tong’s archival science thought.The main contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction,introduces the background,purpose and significance,the current research situation,the main content,ideas and methods.Finally,it puts forward the innovation points and shortcomings,and clarifies the writing framework for the whole paper.The second part is Pei Tong’s life and work experience.Pei Tong’s work experience after leaving Peking University for Yan’an is sorted out in chronological order,and Pei Tong’s work experience is connected in different stages to form a comprehensive cognition of his life and work experience.The third part is the main content of Pei Tong’s archives utilization thought.Firstly,it introduces four stages of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought,namely germination,formation,stagnation and development,and grasses the formation process of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought as a whole.Then it introduces the formation motivation and summarizes the main content of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought,and finally summarizes the formation and content characteristics of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought.The fourth part is the contribution,influence and limitation.It is a summary and evaluation of Pei Tong’s thoughts on archival utilization.Pei Tong put forward many policies of archival utilization for our party and promoted the formation and development of the theory of archival utilization in our country,and has promoted the development of the practice of the utilization of archives in China and the improvement of the level of the utilization of archives in China.Finally,after affirming the position of Pei Tong’s archival utilization thought,it analyzes the limitation objectively.
