FPGA,namely Field Programmable Gate Array,is a kind of Programmable digital integrated circuit.FPGA has developed vigorously for more than 30 years since its birth.It has been widely used in consumer electronics,automotive electronics,aerospace,weapons and equipment and other traditional fields.Now,it is also emerging in data center,financial technology,chip verification,machine learning and other application scenarios.At present,FPGA mainly has three technical routes,namely,Anti-fuse technology,SRAM technology and FLASH technology.Among them,the Anti-fuse FPGA is in a leading position in the military and aerospace fields due to its excellent anti-radiation and non-volatility,but its significant disadvantages are that it can only be programmed once and the integration is low.SRAM FPGA has powerful performance and abundant resources,but its anti-irradiation performance is poor,and configuration data is lost when power is off,so it takes the lead in the civilian market.FLASH-based FPGA,due to the excellent characteristics of its switch unit,combines the characteristics of both Anti-fuse FPGA and SRAM FPGA.It is non-volatile,multi-programmable,high reliability,high security,low power consumption,etc.characteristic.FLASH-based FPGA is expected to replace the leading position of Anti-fuse FPGA in the military market,and the military industry is related to national security,so the independent controllable and domestic replacement is imminent.Therefore,this thesis chooses the internal programable and configurable circuit of FLASH-based FPGA for in-depth research.Firstly,this paper studies the overall structure of FLASH-based FPGA,introduces the internal programable and configurable circuit and peripheral control circuit,and studies and analyzes the principle,structure,characteristics and configuration method of the FLASH switch unit.Secondly,the logic level analysis and design of the internal programable and configurable circuit are emphasized.Starting with array layout and hierarchical structure planning,two important circuit modules,programmable logic block and programmable routing resource,are deeply studied.In addition,it focuses on the programmable and configurable global network,and completes all the work from requirement analysis,architecture planning to design and implementation.Finally,the simulation and verification of the internal programmable and configurable circuit are completed,and the correctness of the circuit is verified step by step from the FLASH switch unit to the module circuit to the whole circuit.Through the detailed research work in this thesis,the design and implementation of a large-capacity FLASH-baserd FPGA chip's internal programmable and configurable circuit with an equivalent system gate density of up to 600,000,a total of more than 4million FLASH switch units,and a total of 13,824 programmable logic blocks has been completed.Realized,and through the equivalent modeling of the circuit,using NC-Verilog simulation tool to verify that its logic function meets the design expectations.
