Research On The Newsframe Of Resentment-venting Events Upon Society In China During Transition

The resentment-venting events upon society has always been an important issue of concern to the country and the people.Historically,social resenting events is obscure in news reports.Since the period of social transformation,our country' s social context and media system have significant changes,and the social resenting events began to be noticed and reported by the media.From 1979 to 2020,a total of 10 frames are used in news reports on social resenting events in our country.There are factual news frame,government image news frame,advanced individual news frame,judicial trial news frame,offender news frame,victim news frame,investigation news frame,accountability news frame,recommendation news frame,legal news frame,respectively.The evolution of reports on social resenting events has strong characteristics of the times.The reporting methods and focus of different historical periods are quite different.Although the media in our country has made great contributions in advancing the rule of law in society and raising people' s legal awareness,the news frame of social resenting events started late in our country and there are still many areas that need improvement.First of all,the vicious events in society broke the harmonious social environment created for us by the media,leading to the destruction of the personal cognitive frame.Secondly,there is a game between legal objective norms and individual subjective consciousness in the reports of social resenting events,causing the criminals lose their right to speak.Thirdly,there are many bad habits in media reports,which prevent social structural contradictions be deeply explored and are not conducive to the positive guidance of social values.As a result,the media should maintain information transparency on social resenting events,avoid excessively exaggerating socially disadvantaged groups,give criminals appropriate opportunities to speak out,and focus on digging deep structural contradictions in society,so as to correctly guide public opinion.
