Additive manufacturing,as a new manufacturing technology,can produce complex geometrical products that cannot be manufactured by traditional subtractive manufacturing.However,its surface forming quality accuracy is not comparable to that of traditional subtractive manufacturing,so it has not been widely used.In order to improve the material manufacture surface forming quality,this paper studies the molding on surface quality of the fused deposition molding the manufacturability of the research and design optimization,and fused deposition molding as a kind of typical material manufacturing technology,the manufacturability of the related research of other manufacturability of increasing material manufacturing technology research has very important significance.In this paper,the evaluation index of surface forming quality was calculated through the geometric relationship of different forming surfaces,and the comprehensive evaluation method of fabricability of FDM parts was established.Two approaches were proposed to improve the surface forming quality of FDM parts by adjusting the process parameters and optimizing the structure design.Finally,the feasibility of the theory was verified by examples.The main contents are as follows:(1)Study on the evaluation index of forming surface quality accuracy.Determine the evaluation index of FDM surface forming quality,according to the geometric relations of different forming on the surface of each evaluation index calculation formula of the forming surface,derived mainly characteristics of circular surface roughness,roundness and forming supporting surface forming on the surface of the support surface roughness into forming inclined two categories,bearing surface and forming flat bearing surface to the analysis and calculation(2)Construction of comprehensive evaluation method for manufacturability.Based on the range of process parameters of manufacturing resources,the available manufacturing space of manufacturing equipment was determined by calculating formulas of each evaluation index.Through the comprehensive comparison of the design requirements and the manufacturing space,the three possible conditions of the evaluation are explained respectively.(3)Study on process parameter optimization and structure optimization design.According to the calculation principle and error generation principle of each evaluation index,the relationship between process parameters and each evaluation index is analyzed.The concrete measures of structure optimization are put forward to avoid the possible errors in the manufacturing process at the design stage.(4)Design manufacturability evaluation and process parameters and structure optimization experiments.Three groups of experiments were designed to illustrate and verify the three possible conditions in manufacturability evaluation.
