Research On The Present Situation And Improvement Strategy Of Smart Service In Dalian University Libraries

The needs of users are the eternal driving force for the development of library,and providing satisfactory service for users is always the core goal of library,as well as the starting point and foothold of library construction.In recent years,with the development of Big Data,Cloud Computing,Internet of Things and other technologies,Chinese libraries have experienced the development from traditional library to digital library and then to smart library.After several years of construction,the smart service of library has accumulated some theoretical basis and practical experience in the industry.However,with the extensive development of 5G,Artificial Intelligence,Industrial Internet and other new generation of information technologies and the gradual deepening of the smart system construction of university library,the smart service of library is also facing new opportunities and challenges.The university library should rely on the smart service,fully explore the new connotation of the smart service,use the new comprehensive solution,establish the benign interaction between the user demand and the smart service,and make the smart service develop in a deep and coordinated way.This paper,taking Dalian university libraries as the research object,based on the relevant theoretical knowledge of the smart service and the form of practice of the library in university to research and through questionnaires,interviews and field survey analyzes and summarizes the current development status and existing problems of smart service of university libraries in Dalian,at the same time puts forward future development strategies.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Using the bibliometric software CiteSpace to sort out the research context and research status of library smart service at home and abroad.(2)By defining the concept and connotation of smart library and smart service through theoretical research,find out the elements of smart service construction.Then,with 42 "Double First-Class" university libraries in China as the main reference object,the network survey is adopted to investigate and analyze the smart service forms that have been carried out.Using the theoretical elements and practical forms as the reference items to lay the foundation for the design of the following questionnaire.(3)By issuing questionnaires to university library librarians in Dalian,interviewing library leaders and visiting some libraries,fully understand the current situation of smart service in university libraries in Dalian,and summarize the survey results.(4)By analyzing the results of the previous questionnaire,summarize the existing problems in the smart service of Dalian university libraries and put forward improvement strategies.
