Research And Realization Of The Management Platform Of University Smart Library

Since IBM put forward the concept of “smart planet” in 2008,which goal is to connect infrastructure and natural resources at the national level even around globe.In 2009,Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao proposed to build a “Reading China” center in Wuxi,Jiangsu province.A year later,Wuxi issued a series of development policies and plans for the Internet of Things successively.Taking this as an opportunity,the development of the Internet of Things in China is in prosperous.Along with the development of the Internet of Things,a series of “smart” concepts emerge at the historic moment,“Smart Library” is one of them.“Smart Library” has become one of the most popular research topics at the library community in China.The concept of “Smart Library” is providing interconnection between Thing to Thing,Human to Human,Human to Thing,serving readers in an intelligent way at anytime,anywhere.“Smart Library” has the dual characteristics of digital library and the Internet of Things.With the theme of people oriented and service as the core,the construction of smart library management platform is based on the Internet of Things,heterogeneous network,public network and private network,supported by literature resource and information technology.At present,the construction of “Smart Library” in China is still at an early stage,far from the real “Smart Library”.Scholars need to continue to explore,research,study and offer advice for the development of “Smart Library”.Taking management platform for smart library construction as the theme,based on an overview of research and development of the construction of “Smart Library” in our country and aboard,this paper briefly describes the definition and content of “Smart Library”,and characteristics,functions,and construction of management platform.What's more,this paper points out the shortcomings at management platform construction of “Smart Library” and puts forward some corresponding solutions.This paper is divided into five parts: Chapter one states the background and significance of “Smart Library” construction,as well as the current situation and research methods of the construction of “Smart Library” at home and aboard.Chapter two is an overview of “Smart Library” management platform,which mainly describes the definition of “Smart Library”,the characteristics and function of “Smart Library” management platform.Chapter three briefly describes the construction objectives platform framework architecture design and the construction content of “Smart Library” management platform.The fourth chapter is the design and implantation of management platform,including design principles,design flow of the system,system design,function design,design of electronic resource management system and big data analysis.Chapter five analyses the deficiencies in the construction of “Smart Library” management platform and puts forward corresponding solutions.Chapter six summarizes the content of this study,points out the shortcomings of this paper,and makes a prospect for the future construction and development of “Smart Library”.
