A Comparative Study Of The Development Of Chinese And Foreign Smart Library

A series of new technology with the Internet,networking,cloud computing and the rapid development of the world productivity and mode of production and people's daily life pattern in the changes in science and technology change rapidly,competition has become more and more comprehensive national strength competition.The information technology industry has constantly produced new market and new industry model.In November 2008,the American IBM proposed the idea of "the earth of wisdom",which aims to make the society develop wiser and live wiser."Smart earth" has nurtured "smart city".It uses digital grid to manage urban resources,economy,society,environment and geography system,so as to comprehensively improve the safety,efficiency,convenience and environment of modern cities.As a symbol of urban civilization,the library should follow the development of the city.Traditional library has been unable to meet people's need for information transmission.Library circles began to explore and Study Smart Library,in order to promote transformation and improvement of traditional library service form.The smart library is based on the traditional entity library and digital library based on the Internet of things as the carrier,to the wisdom of librarians and users as the core elements,the application of advanced technology and equipment,resources and services to the intelligence service by the change of library;users can not subject to the restrictions of space,time and geographical factors such as access to shared libraries whenever and wherever possible.Resources;is the human-computer interaction,extensive development of new library fusion but also have human feelings.It is a new direction for the development of the future library and a kind of academic expectation in the library circle.The main work of this paper is:(1)Summarize and study domestic and foreign researches on "SmartLibrary" and understand and discuss the concept,characteristics,and construction elements of the Smart Library.(2)Compare the development status of domestic and international smart libraries,and start research and design from two perspectives.It mainly includes the comparison of research hotspots at home and abroad,and the comparison of practice at home and abroad.(3)Take the wisdom service status of the Chinese and American intellectual libraries as an example,and select the representative universities and public libraries of the two countries for analysis and comparison.(4)Discuss the issues and future development of building a smart library in China.(5)Summing up the content of the full-text study and pointing out the deficiencies in the study.
