Research On The Status Quo Of Intellectual Property Information Service Of University Libraries In My Country

Nowadays,our country is in an era of economic globalization and the in-depth development of the knowledge economy.With the formulation,promulgation and implementation of national and local intellectual property strategies,all walks of life in our country have gradually realized the importance of intellectual property related work.Libraries play a very important role in colleges and universities,and they undertake most of the school's information service work.Therefore,it has become a general trend to develop intellectual property information services in the library.Because of this,universities across the country are gradually increasing the strength of libraries,striving to establish intellectual property information service centers as soon as possible.Through investigation and analysis,understanding the current situation of my country's academic libraries in the development of intellectual property information services can not only promote the service transformation of academic libraries,but also improve various intellectual property issues,thereby helping to build an intellectual property power.This article adopts the literature research method,network investigation method and comparative research method.It takes the 60 university intellectual property information service centers that have been approved to be established as the research object.By collecting and consulting a large number of documents and visiting the websites of each service center,you can learn about their websites.Construction content,investigation and analysis of the current development of intellectual property information services in various university libraries.After research,the following conclusions are reached:(1)The current university intellectual property information service centers are unevenly distributed in terms of geographical distribution;(2)The situation of the website entrance of the service center varies from university to university.Since the establishment of most service centers is linked to the library,most of the service center's website entrances are located on the home page of the school library website or the interface of level two and above.At the same time,some service centers have their own independent websites.In addition,some colleges and universities have no website entry,or because users outside the campus cannot access the library website,they cannot conduct investigations;(3)Regarding the establishment of service personnel and rules and regulations,as far as the current situation is concerned,the intellectual property information service centers of all colleges and universities are also unable to conduct investigations.This needs to be further improved and strengthened;(4)This study believes that the service content provided by the service centers at this stage is not comprehensive enough,especially the services provided to the society lack pertinence.At the same time,based on the results of a number of investigations,several countermeasures and suggestions are put forward for the future development of intellectual property information services in academic libraries in my country: innovative service models,developing regional alliance-style services;scientific and reasonable division of labor,training high-level service teams;building a standard system,Accelerate the improvement of rules and regulations;expand service content and promote the development of characteristic services;strengthen multi-party linkages and work together to increase service influence.
