The Research And Implementation Of Crm Search Module Based On SAP TREX

S company uses SAP CRM system to process master data such as product information and customer information,as well as business transaction data like bug tracking orders and issue reports.In addition to the operation of business transaction data through CRM Web Client,users also interact with the business transaction data in CRM via external applications and APIs.Since the business transaction data search service provided by CRM cannot meet the needs of customers,this thesis proposes a new search solution,the key point is to change the search from database search to TREX search from system bottom layer,which generates a new SAP CRM search.With implementation of this solution,the performance of business transaction data search raised by internal and external users through a series of applications is improved,and on this basis,the search function of historical information and statistic information is provided.This thesis mainly completed the following aspects of work:(1)Design the solution.Through the customization of the SAP CRM system,the search is switched from database search to SAP TREX search.Including the design of data synchronization between CRM and TREX systems,the design of data synchronization trigger mechanism,the selection of synchronization trigger location,the selection of search switching location,and the design of search function module and search engine service.(2)Implement the solution.The main work is done on the CRM side and it changes its original business transaction data creation and update process and search process,mainly search process.The implementation is divided into data synchronization module and search module.The data synchronization module includes the trigger mechanism that triggers data synchronization,the implementation of the synchronization script and data extraction methods,and the design and implementation of monitor script and batch update script.The search module implements an extensible search engine service and a set of search function modules,focusing on the processing of search requests,including how to handle historical data search and nested search.(3)Testing.First is data accuracy testing.By comparing the search results of CRM search with the database data to verify the data accuracy of search results with the implementation of this solution.The testing results shows that the search data accuracy of CRM search is 98.85%of the database search.And do further analysis on the reason of having incorrect data in search results and repair the erroneous data by using batch update script.Second is the search efficiency testing.The testing result shows that the average response time of CRM search with this solution is nearly 50 times faster than the average response time of database search,which proves that the search performance is significantly improved with the implementation of this solution.Finally,the newly created business transaction data or the update of business transaction data can be reflected in the search results within an average delay of 2 minutes,which proves that the implementation of this solution can achieve the effect of near real-time search.The above three tests prove that the implementation of this solution resolve the search performance issue and provides a near real time search service to users.
