Andthen, XML-based integration of heterogeneous database middleware is presented including itstechnology realization of its basic method, and its detailed algorithm design, and illustratesthe implementation of the algorithm. Designing a system framework of data customizationand giving a detailed introduction to the framework and the critical technologies in itsimplementation process.Combining XML data conversion and storage technology, middleware technologies andcustomized data forms technology, according to the integrity of the software design process,designing an academic management information system based on data customization. Thesystem uses XML as a universal data format, to convert heterogeneous data a unified dataformat. XML-based integration middleware of heterogeneous database is used in the system,it provide interactive services using XML forms, WEB client and other applications clients called the middleware Web interface from different client platforms, different softwaredevelopment environment, so to get information from different data source, and achieve thetransparent access of heterogeneous data. The data report is generated by combining thereport style XML data generating by report design interface and the XML data generated byreal-time data retrieval from data source.The academic management information system based on data customization, satisfiescustomers' needs of data form. It can realize the customization of customers and can achievesthe sharing of heterogeneous data, and it provides convenience for system maintenance and customers.
