Ancient books are the carrier of Chinese excellent traditional culture,and the protection of ancient books is the direct embodiment of inheriting Chinese culture.In recent years,relying on the “Chinese Ancient Book Protection Plan”,there are many achievements in the development of ancient book protection.Therefore,the promotion of the protection of ancient books,the popularization of ancient books protection knowledge and the promotion of the public's awareness of ancient books protection have been strengthened,so as to inherit and carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture at an unprecedented historical height.This paper combing ancient books protection propaganda and promotion of the subject,object,content,channels and effect,the analysis of the national library and the Tianyige museum of ancient books protection propaganda promotion and propaganda,and found that there are some problems in the promotion of the protection of ancient books,such as the enthusiasm of the promotion subjects,the attraction of the promotion contents,and the promotion channels.And this paper puts forward the planning of publicity and promotion activities for the protection of ancient books,such as paying attention to planning publicity and promotion activities,holding various exhibitions and lectures and reading promotion activities,trying to integrate into new technology,broadening the audience,and giving play to the subjective initiative and innovation of the main body of publicity and promotion;from the ancient book collection institutions themselves and the mass media publicity and promotion channels two aspects of the feasibility of publicity and promotion suggestions.At present,the protection and promotion of ancient books is still in the initial stage,and there is still a lot of room for development.With the development of communication pattern,the work of publicity and promotion should keep pace with the times.It is an inevitable trend that the communication channel of promotion should be changed from mass communication to mass communication.The protection of ancient books doesn't work without the support of the public.It is necessary to improve the protection awareness and sense of crisis of the whole people,so that the whole people can spontaneously join in the ranks of ancient books protection and inheriting the excellent traditional culture,and establish a comprehensive and participatory network for the protection of ancient books.The good vision of the promotion of the protection of ancient books is that the protection of ancient books should be protected consciously by the people.
