In the development of globalization,the position of cultural soft power in the competition of comprehensive national strength is gradually prominent.Since socialism with Chinese characteristics entered a new era,the country has been working to enhance cultural soft power and enhance cultural confidence.In this context,the development and prosperity of China's cultural industry has become an engine to promote the improvement of cultural soft power.As a part of the cultural industry,film and television works and variety shows play an important role in the development of the cultural industry.Since the 1960 s,semiotics has gradually merged with other disciplines in the process of development and become a cross-disciplinary and interdisciplinary research method,guiding the development of arts such as television and film.Co-text is an important theory in semiotics.A simple combination of symbols cannot complete the process of ideographic text.Otherwise,like a building without a foundation,it will soon collapse and fall into the dust.This paper selected part of network home-made variety shows,from two aspects of concept combing and case analysis,using the theory of Co-text to conduct in-depth analysis of Co-text in network home-made variety shows,Firstly,it compares the differences between network variety shows and TV variety shows,and these differences also bring about changes in accompanying text.Then it discusses the enlightenment of other film and television works accompanying the text application to variety shows.Then it reveals the important role of accompanying text in the research and application of network variety shows.First,the production team should make full use of the pre-text and make innovations based on the pre-text.Second,use generative accompanying text: use archi-text,lock the audience,focus on the vertical field,design the para-text,avoid the homogenization with other programs in the market,so as to improve the quality of the program,improve the audience rating;Third,the use of link-text,enhance audience participation,use chain text,enhance audience viscosity,in order to achieve the purpose of publicity.
