Research On The Environmental News Of Minqin On Gansu's Daily From The Perspective Of The Frame Theory

In recent years,desertification has become a global environmental issue.Gansu Minqin is at the forefront of desertification monitoring and prevention in my country,and is one of the main sources of sand and dust storms in my country.The ecological and environmental problems of the Minqin Oasis are the epitome of the ecological environmental problems in arid regions in my country.Based on the actual environment of Minqin,this paper adopts Gamson and Enterman ' s related theories on frame research,divides the frame into two parts: formal frame and content frame,and selects "Gansu Daily" as the research object.Since the founding of "Gansu Daily" Take the Minqin environmental news report as a sample,and use the content analysis method to do a quantitative study on the sample's formal framework(reporting style,layout,report structure,etc.)to explore its media cognition and public opinion on environmental news Guidance,the news concept and social responsibilities of the party newspaper;and use text analysis to do qualitative research on the content framework(that is,report topics,report trends,etc.),and conduct sand control and afforestation,water resources protection and management,environmental governance results,and typical news figures Analyze report texts on topics such as environmental disasters,human settlements improvement,environmental policies and measures,and environmental scientific research to explore the specific performance of the news reporting framework.The study found that the "Gansu Daily" reports on Minqin environmental news are mainly based on a positive reporting framework,an environmental construction framework,and a digital facts framework.The reporting framework is reflected in the setting of agendas,the selection of reporting angles,and reporting methods.Diligent environmental facts have three characteristics:effective environmental governance,government attention,effective policies,hardworking people,and a long way to go.At the same time,this research believes that Gansu Daily has insufficient attention to typical issues in Minqin environmental news reports,lack of problem orientation,and aging of the report form.Therefore,it is recommended that Gansu Daily take further steps in the new era and new stage.Pay attention to the ecological and environmental issues of Minqin,strengthen problem orientation,innovate reporting methods,temper the "four forces" of reporters,improve quality and increase,and better assume the noble mission of the party newspaper to effectively guide social public opinion and promote economic and social development.
